Senior Pastor: Benjamin Lantzer
Benjamin is originally from Michigan and spent time in Georgia, Texas, and most recently Minnesota. Benjamin is married to Chloe, and they have two children, Elsie and Lewis. Benjamin enjoys a wide range of hobbies and activities: reading, writing, listening to music, playing card or board games, playing with Legos (most of the time with his kids), sports, and watching shows on TV. Benjamin is passionate about people encountering God, loves to help people navigate their journey with Jesus, and is excited to be part of Flora First Christian Church!
Youth Minister: Nick Hoffman
Pastor Nick Hoffman was called to Flora First Christian in June 2019. Pastor Nick grew up in our congregation and has been active in both community and church all his life. Nick is married to Rebeckah and they have three children, Celia, Evan and Adela.
First Step Preschool: Jane Edging
We welcomed First Step Preschool as a part of our ministry in 2014. Jane capably leads the Nursery and Preschool classes. Jane is married to Darrell and they have two grown children.
Secretary and Organist: Phyllis Reinke
Phyllis began her career as FFCC’s secretary in 1976 under Pastor Larry Kuntz and continues to “break in” new ministers. She has two children and five grandchildren. She is a former FFCC choir director, a former Elder, active in CWF, and generally has the answers to your “where do I go” questions. She is an avid golfer and a “True Blue” Indianapolis Colts fan.
Choir Director: Miriam Robeson
Miriam became our choir director in July 2010. Before that, she was assistant choir director and youth choir director. She is married to David Pickens, and they are the parents of three adults. Miriam is very active in our church and community.
Custodian: Mindy Evans
Mindy has helped out at the church in a variety of ways – she has served as substitute Church Secretary, Assistant at First Step Preschool, and now we are pleased to have her as custodian of the church. The church shines! Mindy is married to Levi, and they have two active boys.
