The Vacation Bible School program this year featured an Amazing Race theme, in which the children “visited” four countries – India, Egypt, Burkina Faso, and Argentina – before “returning home” to the USA.

In Burkina Faso, we learned that there was only 1 ambulance for more than $30,000 people.  Carroll County, Indiana has 3 ambulances for 19,000 people.  Our mission offering this year was to help raise money to ship an ambulance to Burkina Faso – a total cost of $10,000.

Thanks to the generosity of the children and the congregations of the Culter Presbyterian Church, the Flora Presbyterian Church, and the Flora First Christian Church, we collected $3,140.83!
